Planning your visit
The museum is a ten minute walk from Trondheim city square. Currently there is work being done in Kongens gate and the nearest bus stop is Skansen. There is no visitor parking at the museum. Paid parking can be found along Erling Skakkes gate.

Please note that although the address of both of our buildings is “Kongens gate”, both our entrances face Erling Skakkes gate/Voldgata. See the google map below which marks our main entrance.

We are constantly working to ensure everyone can experience the museum. You can read about how the museum is and is not accessible here.

Opening hours:
Tuesday – Sunday 11:00-16:00. We are closed Mondays.

We accept pre-booked groups and class visits. Read more about our offers here.

Prices:
Tickets can be purchased on arrival.
Adult 110,-
Students/Seniors: 80,-
Children under 16: free
